Mount Panorama, our venue for Round 11 of the Warriors Series showcased some of the fantastic talent we have nurtured and encouraged here at Bongo Racing.
On one of the most difficult circuits to master two racers shone away and above the whole field. Eoin and our resident mega veteran Mark showed a clean pair of heels as they took on the mountain.
After 69 minutes of intense racing they were only separated by few seconds.
Not only here but throughout the field we witnessed some of the best racing of the season. Davie Mac, with borrowed hardware, finished in a superb third. Darragh kept his head and brought the Bentley home in a solid fourth. This result edges him into a podium spot for the overall championship.
Series leader Steve NOT Hughes had a mare of a race and fell foul of the treacherous walls and could only muster an overall 13th in the race. What this means for the championship is mind blowing. It’s all going to come down to the wire at Imola with Eoin and Steve juking it out for the over all title.
Andrew Morris deserves an big shout out as his luck has been non existent this season and his 8th place brings him back into the bronze fight going into the final round.
A brilliant nights racing and we’re so excited for the final round.
